Benefits of Women in the Fire Service:
Perspectives from Male Fire Service Leaders

Many conversations about women in the fire service center around issues of ill-fitting PPE, lack of facilities, sexual harassment, and negative opinions about women and firefighting. This webinar will bring together several male chiefs, career and volunteer, to discuss their experiences and perspectives regarding the benefits of women serving in emergency services. The chiefs will offer a few "promising practices" related to recruiting and retaining female responders.
